One of the Exclusive McLaren Saber is now available in the used market

Just 4 months after the presentation of this rare and exclusive limited edition of the British firm and we can already find a copy of the McLaren Saber for sale in a specialist of classics and exotics. It is a brand new unit and is priced at 3.6 million pounds (4.17 million euros).

It was on December 24th when we echoed the official presentation of the new McLaren Saber, one of the most exclusive limited editions launched by the British firm and which happens to be the fastest two-seater in the history of McLaren.

Although we have used the word 'official', the truth is that it was not the Woking firm that was responsible for its presentation, but the McLaren dealership in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Since this limited edition is only destined for the North American market, or rather, only 15 clients from North America, since those are the units that will make up this edition developed by the McLaren special operations department (MSO).

Now, less than 4 months after the first official images and data of the model were published, we can already find one of these rare units in the used market, as the specialist Knight International announced a few days ago the sale of one of these copies for a price of 3.6 million pounds, which means 4.17 million euros or 5.01 million dollars. As expected, this unit has been announced brand new, with the few kilometers with which the new models are delivered.

Limited edition

It is curious that after causing rivers of ink since the first reports of the project emerged in 2018, we have hardly spoken of this limited edition again after its presentation last Christmas. Although those reports pointed out that it was simply a single copy requested by a wealthy client, since the code name that transcended precisely corresponded to the coding of this type of projects (BC-03), finally the model has reached the street in the form of an exclusive limited edition of only 15 units.

The McLaren Saber is the production variant of the McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo, although under the veneer it is really a heavily modified McLaren Senna from which it inherits its monocoque frame and practically its entire interior. It also receives a mechanics boosted up to 835 hp (824 hp), a slightly revised suspension configuration and a completely new body with a very elaborate and visually spectacular aerodynamic kit. Its maximum speed is 351 km / h, making it the fastest two-seater in the history of the brand, surpassed only by the McLaren Speedtail and the McLaren F1, but these have 3-seater cockpits.
