All New FIAT Toro 2022 debuts with a light facelift and a huge central screen

All New FIAT Toro 2022 is now official. The compact pick-up of the Italian firm in the South American market has just received a slight update that has affected both the aesthetic plane and the equipment, since it now has a much more technological interior with the option of mounting a huge central screen of 8.4 inches.

Even such a specific niche model that is initially intended for commercial vehicles in a few markets such as the FIAT Toro has succumbed to the fashion of huge multimedia screens, as this is precisely one of the great novelties that the model has just released. in its last update.

The South American division of the Italian brand has been preparing this facelift in recent years, as there have been several occasions in which we have been able to see the development prototypes of the renewed FIAT Toro 2022. This is going to debut small aesthetic changes and very striking novelties in the equipment section, such as the new central screen of the infotainment system.

What's new?

Although at first glance it is not easy to appreciate the news of the new FIAT Toro 2022, the truth is that it has a fairly modified front. Its peculiar optics deceive us into believing that we are facing the previous model, but when we look closely we discover that practically the entire nose is new. The grille does not change in size but its shapes slightly, like the bumper, which has different moldings in the lower area.

The main optics have not changed and maintain their peculiar design, but their internal distribution is new. On the side we find practically no changes, except for the wheels and the additions of the new accessories on the rear cradle and the roof. As in any pick-up type model, it is very difficult to make modifications in the rear area given the size of the door of the cradle, and in the case of the rear optics we found no changes

Inside, it is evident that we find a dashboard that has been greatly modified to make room for the large vertical screen of the infotainment system. This area of ​​the dashboard mimics the design of the new generation RAM 1500 and adopts a large vertical screen that can be 7.0 and 8.4 inches. As expected, the Toro 2022 debuts the latest update to the brand's infotainment system. On the dashboard we also find a 7.0-inch screen.
